I highly recommend that you all read the " Who You Know" Chapter of the Run Faster source book. It has advanced contacts rules that will help us have more fun with one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of the game!!!
Included in this post is a sample contacts list. This is what all of your contacts should look like ( if you have the time!). You will need to read the above mentioned chapter to accurately understand all the information !

Mr.Sano (Corp. Handler, Loyalty 2 Connection 8)
Preferred Method of Payment: Services (Shadow-work)
Hobbies/Vices: Information( Corp.Secrets)
Personal Life: Unknown
Uses: Legwork (primary), Networking and Swag (Secondary)
Details: Mr.Sano is a ruthless, powerful, and ambitious man with Wuxings Executive Hierarchy. Mr.Nice doesn't know an incredible amount about the man due to his extremely secretive demeanor.
Sano isn't happy with his current role within Wuxing and looks for any and all advantages he needs to advance his own status among his peers.
Because of this, he is one of the few Corporate Execs willing to take a more integral role within the Shadowrunning community, using an agent placed there ( Mr.Nice) as a tool to use to garner more power for himself and advance his position within the Company.
Sano is Severely Loyal to his corp. and as such will never take any action that may result in harming Wuxing. He expects the same loyalty from all of his subordinates, and is unforgiving to disloyalty.
Uses: Mr.Sano is not a man to be "used", though he is extremely intelligent and knows when a particular action or task could be molded to his benefit. As such, he is open to aiding Mr.Nice in anyway possible if he is able. However, he fully expects Mr.Nice to repay him ten fold with undying loyalty to him. His Primary function as a contact to Mr.Nice is in LEGWORK, using his corporate influence and knowledge stores to provide information to Mr.Nice when needed and appropriate.
HE also may provide help in NETWORKING and SWAG, the the former is a seldom rewarded request (He will never risk his reputation in anyway by putting an associate of his in contact with the likes of a Shadowrunners). As a contact Mr.Nice must EARN SANTOS help in any of these three categories, which isn't an easy task.
Gentleman Johnny Marconne (Verontessi Made Man, Loyalty 6 Connections 8)
Preferred Method of Paymen: Services (Shadow-Work, Drek Jobs, Family Business ), Information ( Magical Knowledge)
Hobbies/Vices: Gambling ( Favors, High Stakes )
Personal Life: Family Obligations (Verontessi Family)
Uses: Networking Primary, Legwork and Favors (Including Swag) Secondary
Details: Marconne Has earned the title by which he is called "Gentleman". He is very polite and straight forward in his dealings with people. He respects boundaries and shows respect to those that have earned i, no matter their affiliations. However, Marconne did not reach his position with the Verontessi Crime family because of his good manners.
He is cunning, ruthless and precise in his actions. Highly intelligent and no push over, Gentleman Johnnie Marconne is name that Garner's both respect and fear within the criminal underworld.
His actions, decisions and personality match this of the character from Dresden Files.
Mr.Nice has proven himself on more than one occasion to be a man of his word while dealing with Marconne. On one occasion, during a hand off Marconne was betrayed by the Runner group Nice was working with. Mr.Nice had the chance to leave Marconne for dead with no witnesses and 500k nuyen in his pocket. Instead Nice risked his life to get Marconne out, provided him medical care, and later aided Marconne in tracking the Runners and retrieving hia money.
Since then Marconne has considered Mr.Nice a friend for life.
Hurricane (Talismonger Loyalty 4 Connection 4)
Prefered Method of Payment: Cash for Swag, Services(Drek Jobs) for Legwork and Favors
Hobbies/Vice: Nothing of Import
Personal Life: Widowed
Uses: Magical Swag (Primary), Legwork and Favors (Secondary)
Details: Hurricane (Real name Unknown) grew up and spent the majority of his adult life on a Pueblo Tribal Reserve. Both his father and Grandfather served as the tribes Unituruk (Medicine Man) so it was only natural when the passed from the world that HURRICANE would assume those duties. As he grew older, and witnessed the corruption of his tribesman by the megacorps he decided against spending his last few decades on the reserve and opted instead to take his vast array of herbal and magical knowledge into the real world.
In all aspects Hurricane hopes that his knowledge and power can do some good for the people of the world. His focus is on the healing arts, and he uses his home as a Medicine Lodge for the people that need his help. Of course... nothing is free, but Hurricane tries hard to make sure that those people down on their luck can pay him in ways that they can actually afford.
Other than his healing arts, Hurricane has built up a good sized network for collecting magical trinkets and reagents aswell as a good reputation within the spirit realm. He can also craft a good number of magical goods on his own and is well versed in tribal trinkets.
Hurricane will never take an action that he believes will harm innocent people or spirits...with the exception being Corporate slaves.
Hurricane has little interest in things outside His tribe, the spirits, healing, and magical goodss so his knowledge of things and the information he can provide is limited to those categories.
Hurricane trusts Mr.Nice more than the average runner because they share Traditions, and Hurricane believes Mr.Nice wants to help people eople as much as he does.
Oil slick (Fence Loyalty 3 Connections 4)
Preferred Method of Payment: "It's all about that Cash Money Nigga! Unless you got some badass hardware for me and the Boyz!" (Cash or Weaponry)

Uses: Swag ( Arms dealer, Street Drugs, and Drone Tech) Primary, Services ( Extra Bodies and/or Chappie if the price is right ) and Safehouse (The kingdom ) Secondary
Details : THIS CONTACT is every bit the guy from Chappie the movie except slightly more intelligent.He drives an elcamino, runs his gang and smuggling operation, loves his woman and his son (Chappie), and is loyal to his Homies.
Piss him off and it gets really real, really fast.
Lt. Martin Murphy (Knight Errant Special Investigations Unit Awakened Division Loyalty 3 Connections 5)
Prefered Method of Payment: Criminal Scum (Information that could lead to an arrest of a Criminal Scumbag), Favors (Shadow work Pertaining to Investigations o Awakened Criminals)
Hobbies/Vices: The Law and Fixing it when it doesn't work.
Personnel Life: Single
Uses: Legwork (Access to Knight Errant records and normally Restricted Info.) Primary, Shadow-work and Swag (Confiscated goods) Secondary
Details: This Contact is VERY similar to the Karrin Murphy from the Later books in the Dresden Files Series, with the exception that she is an ADEPT.
Lt.Murphy is fierc, stubborn and dedicated to ridding the world of Criminal Scum. Unlike most dedicated officers Murphy understands that sometimes the law isn't enough and that more drastic measures need to be taken. As such, she has developed a sort of second life as a vigilante. She uses her Clout within Knight Errant and her specific skill set to do things the Law normally couldn't do.
She only tolerates certain criminals like Mr.Nice because of their usefulness when it comes to getting around the Law to get Real criminals off the streets.
She is very Specific about what she wants from an associate (Like Mr.Nice), and uses their skills and shadow knowledge to her advantage to take down criminals that are normally hard to get to.
Mr.Nice happens to be one of the few Men she trusts to help her on an official leve, and calls him in for favors as an Investigator in Specific Knight Errant cases that the department needs an Awakened mages help on.
She will never tolerate blatant disregard for public safety, nor will she tolerate a criminal avoiding justice because of the Red Tape of The Law.
